Tomatoes

Patrisha was kind enough to take some lovely photos of the tomatoes growing throughout the garden this year.  As you can see, there are quite the variety of shapes and colours!!  Does anyone have any preferences with regards to the tomatoes they have grown?  Do some taste better than others?  Would you grow certain varieties again next year?  Let us know!

Workshop on Indoor and Outdoor Composting!

We invite you to come and explore Backyard composting Basics (setting up a pile, maintaining a pile, using compost and compost tea!). This will include a number of hands on activities including building a “Compost sandwich” and setting up our own 3-bin composting unit. As per request, we’ll also be going over indoor composting (WORMS!) for those of you without adequate space at home.

Please RSVP if you will be attending this session so that Aimee can have an idea of numbers.

PS – Gummy worms are not recommended for composting purposes ;)
